NABT Conference will take place in-person at the JW Marriott Indianapolis from November 10 - 13, 2022.
We are committed to hosting a safe conference and will request attendees follow a number of public health measures including wearing masks during indoor activities. We appreciate that the dynamics of the pandemic are changing and so are CDC Guidelines. However, NABT will continue to be proactive and will hold the safest meeting possible for all attendees.

Registration for the 2022 NABT Professional Development Conference is now open. A valid registration must be on file to attend the conference and order tickets for special workshops and events.
Registrations can be made online or using the 2022 Registration Forms.
Reservations at the JW Marriott Indianapolis can be made here. NABT has a special room rate of $215/night plus applicable taxes and fees. The deadline for this special room rate is October 17th. Hotel reservations must be cancelled 48 hours in advance.
If you must cancel for any reason, please notify NABT in writing by October 31st. A $10 handling fee will be assessed for all refunds. No refunds will be made after October 31st. Registration fees for program participants are not refundable at any time.

The NABT Professional Development Conference will begin with workshops and the field trip, followed by the opening session speaker scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 10th. Educational sessions will be scheduled all day on Friday, November 11th, and Saturday, November 12th. Saturday will conclude with the closing speaker at 5:00 PM, followed by a special evening event. Additional workshops and committee meetings are scheduled on the morning of Sunday, November 13th. Please plan your travel accordingly.

Proposals for the 2022 NABT Conference are no longer being accepted. The NABT Professional Development Committee will review submissions and acceptance notifications will be emailed to primary presenters by May 15, 2022. Upon acceptance, all session presenters must register by May 31 for your session to be included in the Final Conference Program.

You are invited to submit a proposal to present your research in biology education during the 2022 Professional Development Conference. This is a refereed session and all papers will go through double-blind review process.

You are invited to share your work on inclusive teaching in life science education during the 2022 NABT Inclusive Teaching Symposium. This refereed session will be presented online, and date/time will be released soon. Successful submissions will be invited to present a 20-minute talk at the symposium.
