NABT Conference will take place in-person at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis in Atlanta, Georgia from November 11 - 14, 2021. We are committed to hosting a safe conference and are requesting attendees follow a number of public health measures. Read more here.

Registration for the 2021 NABT Professional Development Conference is open. A valid registration must be on file to attend the conference and order tickets for special workshops and events.
Registrations can be made online or using the 2021 Registration Form.
Reservations at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis can be made using this link. NABT has a special room rate of $185/night plus applicable taxes and fees. The deadline for this special room rate is October 12th. Please be sure to book your hotel room before then! Make your reservation now.
If you must cancel for any reason, please notify NABT in writing by November 30th. A $10 handling fee will be assessed for all refunds. No refunds will be made after November 30th. Registration fees for program participants are not refundable at any time.

The NABT Professional Development Conference will begin with workshops and the field trip, followed by the opening session speaker scheduled to begin at 4:00 PM on Thursday, November 11th. Educational sessions will be scheduled all day on Friday, November 12th, and Saturday, November 13th. Saturday will conclude with the closing speaker at 5:00 PM, followed by a special evening event. Additional workshops and committee meetings are scheduled on the morning of Sunday, November 14th. Please plan your travel accordingly.

The call for proposals closed on April 1st. The NABT Professional Development Committee is reviewing submissions and acceptance notifications will be emailed to primary presenters by May 15, 2021. Upon acceptance, all session presenters must register by May 31 for your session to be included in the Final Conference Program.
You are invited to submit a proposal to present your research in biology education during the 2021 Professional Development Conference. This is a refereed session and all papers will go through double-blind review process.

You are invited to share your work on inclusive teaching in life science education during the 2021 NABT Inclusive Teaching Symposium. This refereed session will be presented online on Friday, December 3rd from 4:00pm to 6:00pm Eastern. Successful submissions will be invited to present a 20-minute talk at the symposium.
