2020 Professional Development Conference Moves Online
Protecting the health and safety of the NABT community is our top priority, and given the ongoing public health concerns posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the NABT Board of Directors has voted unanimously to move the 2020 NABT Professional Development Conference to a fully online event.
Even though the NABT community will not meet in-person in 2020, we are excited to offer the same high-quality speakers, sessions, and special events that are the hallmark of the NABT
Conference during our first-ever NABT Virtual Conference.
Adapting the conference to an online format will require adjustments to both the conference program and registration process. We plan to host limited concurrent sessions during
“conference weekend” on November 6th and 7th, with symposia and special workshops on additional days. We will also feature recorded sessions that attendees can access on-demand
throughout November.
Thanks to everyone for their support as NABT leaders and staff work with session presenters, featured speakers, exhibitors, and partners to design a fantastic virtual conference experience
that can be shared with an even broader biology teacher audience. We appreciate your continued patience as the NABT team works through final details. Stay tuned for updates in the coming
weeks!
We look forward to “seeing” you at the 2020 NABT Virtual Conference, in Atlanta in November 2021, in Indianapolis in 2022, and we are especially excited to announce that
we will celebrate NABT’s 85th year at the 2023 NABT Professional Development Conference in Baltimore!
Thank you again for your understanding,
Sharon Gusky NABT President, 2020
